Road Trip Chronicles: Göynük to Kaş
Our road trip from Göynük to Kaş was a 2-hour odyssey through Turkey’s diverse and captivating scenery. The journey itself became an exploration of the contrasts between the modern and traditional facets of this unique country.
Finike: A Glimpse of Greek Allure
Our first pitstop was Finike, a quaint town exuding the charm of Greek influences. Unlike bustling tourist destinations, Finike maintained a tranquil atmosphere, predominantly populated by retirees relishing the laid-back Mediterranean lifestyle.
Kaş: A Mediterranean Gem
Our base for the next 2 nights was the Sunset apartment in Kaş, offering a mesmerizing terrace view of the sea and Greek islands. With its private beach, the villa provided the perfect setting to witness unforgettable sunsets. Kaş itself, a Mediterranean town, impressed us with its authenticity, untouched by the influx of mass tourism.
Exploring Ancient Ruins on the Way Back
On our return journey, we explored the ancient ruins of the Ancite City of Olympos and the Ancient City of Phaselis, adding a historical dimension to our Turkish adventure.
