Embarking on our maiden voyage with a rented camper, our journey unfolded through the picturesque landscapes of Europe. Envisioning a grand finale in Italy, our aspirations took an unexpected turn when our camper succumbed to a breakdown on the highway midway through our adventure. Forced to return hastily from Lausanne via plane, we left camper with all belongings in Switzerland for several weeks. Fortunately, the camper was well insured, covering the expenses for hotels, taxis, and plane tickets.
Despite the abrupt and dramatic pause in our journey, the vistas that unfolded before our eyes during those seven days were nothing short of perfection. Confidently asserting that Switzerland is a paradise on earth, this journey is a testament to the captivating allure of a land that leaves no soul untouched.
Camping-Kirnbach Zur Mühle, Germany
We kicked off our journey in Belgium, and the first stop on our route was the idyllic Camping-Kirnbach Zur Mühle in Germany. The camp’s location is perfect for long walks in nature. Surrounded by greenery and fresh mountain air, every step was an opportunity for exploration.

Immersing ourselves in the magical world of nature, we spent two unforgettable nights at See camping. Nowhere else will you experience such nature magic—from the color of the lake to the impressive views of the surrounding mountains. This is a place where nature creates a true spectacle, nearby is a picturesque village with tasteful restaurants and charming bars. For cycling enthusiasts, this is an ideal opportunity to enjoy spectacular landscapes.
Jungfrau Camping Switzerland
Just two and a half hours away from See Camping is Jungfrau Camping, surrounded by spectacular waterfalls, where we immersed ourselves for three unforgettable nights. This camp is perfectly positioned to explore the natural wonders of Switzerland.
Our adventure began with a train ride to the top of Jungfrau, from where we descended on foot, enjoying unforgettable landscapes. The train to the top of Jungfrau was a spectacular experience in itself. The views from the top of this magical mountain left us speechless. Descending on foot allowed us an intimate experience of exploring every step of this natural wonder. The charm of Jungfrau Mountain was reflected not only in its imposing peak but in every detail of the landscape we discovered. The immense beauty of nature was enough to leave us breathless and create an unforgettable experience.
A short distance from the camp is a quaint village where restaurants offer cheese fondue and quality wines.
Our European road trip, punctuated by Camping-Kirnbach Zur Mühle, See-camping, and Jungfrau Camping, was a symphony of nature’s finest notes. Each campsite unfolded a unique chapter in our adventure, leaving us with cherished memories.
