“Pairi Daiza: A Wild Adventure in Belgium”

Located in the Bruglette municipality of the Hainaut province in Belgium, one of Europe’s largest zoos, which also doubles as a botanical garden, offers an ideal setting for a family day trip. However, it also presents the opportunity for an unforgettable overnight stay within the zoo, granting guests a unique perspective on wild animals. Imagine renting a room with views of lions, bears, and other wild animals. Pairi Daiza has three stars in the Michelin Green Guide and has been voted the Best Zoo in Europe for three years in a row. The zoo offers a unique opportunity to travel through five continents with over 7,000 animals.

I visited this zoo twice, and each time it rained, but that didn’t diminish my excitement for this place. If you’re unlucky like me and encounter rain during your visit, a solution can be a train ride that tours all parts of Pairi Daiza and provides the opportunity to see animals from a different perspective.

Pairi Daiza is home to five distinct gardens: the Chinese Garden, the Kingdom of Ganesha (Europe’s largest Indonesian garden), the Rose Garden, the Andalusian Garden, and the Olive Garden.

Within the Chinese Garden, you can select from a delightful array of teas and savor them within the serene ambiance of the Chinese temple, transporting you to the heart of China.

At the entrance of Pairi Daiza, before you even check your tickets, you can buy something to eat, like sandwiches or doughnuts. Moreover, once inside the park, you’ll find numerous restaurants and food stalls where you can order a variety of meals and drinks. For those of you arriving with children, right at the beginning, you’ll find a vast playground equipped with slides, swings, seesaws, and more, ensuring hours of fun and entertainment for the little ones.

Pairi Daiza  offers an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages. With its captivating gardens and diverse array of wildlife, the park provides a unique blend of adventure, education, and relaxation.
